'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' Gets A Bloody Fantastic Red Band Trailer
by Ben Pearson 12 minutes ago
20th Century Fox
.
Ever since Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was announced, I rolled my eyes at it and thought it would be another bland origin story recasting our 16th President as an ax-wielding vampire killer. The first trailer did nothing to change my mind, but holy crap – this red-band trailer has changed my mind completely. I laughed out loud while watching it, and the trailer really highlights the most important element of this movie: everyone involved knows it’s one of the most ludicrous concepts for a blockbuster ever conceived, but they decided to have fun with it and made it anyway. This is now one of my most anticipated movies of the summer, just because of how crazy it looks. Check it out below. -

Kelly Clarkson returned today with a new music video for “Dark Side,” the third single off her new LP, Stronger. And it’s not altogether surprising that she’s decided to reunite with director Shane Drake, who was behind the lens for the visual to her hit single “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).” Because her latest is another of the motivational variety. As the song title hints at, Clarkson ventures beneath the surface to explore the “dark side” of various characters — a handicapped war vet, a pill-addicted beauty queen and a victim of school bullying. Check out Kelly Clarkson’s new music video for “Dark Side’ below.

'American Idol' Season Finale Recap: Phillip Phillips Or Jessica Sanchez? Plus JLo, Neil Diamond, Fantasia, Reba and Steven Tyler Perform
by Pat Driscoll 2 hours ago
FOX
.
And the winner of ‘American Idol’ Season 11 is…Jennifer Holiday. Oops. I’m sorry. That’s not right. It was Phillip Phillips. No surprise. And with that the journey comes to an end. Another ‘Idol’ season in the books and another year in which a white guy with a guitar has stolen the hearts of America (‘s teenage girls). Congrats, Phillip. I’m not what you’d call a fan, but what can you do? You came, you relaxed (and slept! For ten hours!) and you rode your groovy laid back steeze to the confetti shower. The big question, though, is will Phil be another Lee Dewyze or Kris Allen. Wait, is there a difference? But, last night’s finale wasn’t only about crowning an ‘Idol,’ not by a long shot. It was also about filling two hours with mindless clip packages and rolling out some corpses to sing with kids! Fun! -
'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Pushed to 2013 For 3D Conversion and New Scenes

Paramount Pictures
.
In what has to be a first for a major movie this close to its release date, Paramount has announced that “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” is being pushed out almost a year to March 29, 2013, for a new opening date. Considering the movie was supposed to come out next month and that the studio has presumably already spent millions on marketing that date, this is a big deal. So why the change?
