My stepfather was in the Air Force for 20 yrs....R.I.P....and my mother was in the Air Force for 3 yrs in the late 50's. They raised me to be very patriotic....and never ever take the flag and our rights  as Americans for granted...and for that I am truly grateful.
I have immense respect for military personnel and all who have served this great country.

Scotty, darlink!!!!!!!! It's been wonderful weather which is why things feel really nice right now...plus it's Friday, always a good reason to pretend there's no such thing as Monday. As you may well know, we're obsessed with the weather over here, and have been informed that this weekend will be the hottest in ages. So everyone's going bananas, me inlcuded, and I plan to go and explore some lovely countryside on Sunday during a mini heatwave. I don't mind. I always take lots of water with me wherever I go and I'm in the mood to splash myself with some beautiful natural scenery, so this weekend feels very nice Scotty...I hope you're rolling rockadelically and looking forward to a great weekend...I really mean it when I say have a great weekend...you hear it all the time, but I really mean it. It sounds like you've been really busy ........ and i know how much it must wear on you ...... but i know how much you love doing what you do .....  and you don;t have to apologize for being busy lately .... i understand .......  i've been through some heartbreak lately ......  and it's hard ....... but i keep the faith and love in my heart ...... i believe that we all are not given what we can't handle ....... and hopefully i will be stronger and wiser for it ....... and i'm grateful to have friends like you ...... i'm like you ..... i think the original of anything is always better .... but i think it will still be an enjoyable movie ........
