About the Mixing process! (by Régisson Silva)
It probably isn't the final version yet, but I'm very happy because I feel more and more that I am really close of a satisfactory
result. The equalizations settings is going its end. I need to improve some parts of drums, as well as to "polish" the guitar sounds. The basses are in the right point I guess, the same to the kick and cymbals on drums. It's stills needing a good care on the the vocal parts and guitar solos. When these process is done I will apply the presets on the other songs and then the finish starts, where I'll give attention to the volume and balance of each instruments in each song.
It's a great pleasure when you can see the music "rising" right in front of your eyes, for those who work with music productions or even those that has been coming together during the whole process since from the beginning know exactly what I'm saying!Soon I'll bring further news about the mixing and mastering process of the new CD, there are lots of nice things coming around!

Semana passada eu concluí a sexta versão de mixagem da música "Revenge", que estará no novo CD do Masterpiece!
Não cheguei a um versão final ainda, mas estou muito feliz pois percebo que cada vez mais me aproximo de um resultado satisfatório. A fase de equalização se caminha para o fim. Preciso melhorar os timbres de caixa e tons, bem como lapidar e polir as guitarras. Os baixos chegaram no ponto ideal acredito, assim como bumbo e prataria. Falta ainda dar um cuidado especial para vocais e solos. Terminado esse processo de equalização irei aplicar os presets nas demais músicas e aí partirei para a parte do acabamento, onde darei devida atenção aos volumes, "pans" individuais dos instrumentos e vozes em cada música.
É muito gratificante poder ver a música "surgir" bem diante dos seus olhos, para quem trabalha com produção ou mesmo
aqueles que acompanharam o processo desde o início sabem muito bem o que quero dizer!Em breve trarei mais novidades sobre a mixagem e masterização do novo CD, vem coisa boa por aí gente!

Masterpiece: Debut album's mixing is going on
The guitar player Regisson Silvais concentrated on the mixing process of the debut album from his Heavy Metal band Masterpiece. Check it out what he said about that:"I've devided the mixing in three parts: edition, equalization and finish. I started the first part the week before last and I believe that I'll be finishing on the next week. MASTERPIECE is back to the gigs!

"Last time MASTERPIECE has played was awesome! We had fun a lot!! The house was full and all that crazy metalheads screaming and singing together drove us crazy for sure. I bet you can imagine the moment when the guitars start to roar like a fierce lion, together the rythmic section giving support making it havier!!! We hope the next time on the stage will be as good as the last one! So if you are close of Joinvile on March 13th you can be one more witness of that. The show must be start around 9pm. It makes me think that it’s true... METAL WILL NEVER DIE!"

A banda Masterpiece volta aos palcos dia treze de Março e o guitarrista Régisson Silva faz a seguinte declaração:
"Ultima vez que Masterpiece tocou foi excelente! Nós nos divertimos muito!! A casa estava cheia e todos aqueles malucos headbangers gritando e contando conosco nos levou ao delírio com certeza! Eu aposto que você pode imaginar o momento quando as guitarras começam a rugir como leões bravos, e a 'cozinha' dando apoio tornando isso ainda mais pesado!!! Nós esperamos que o próximo show seja tão bom quanto este último! Então se você estiver próximo a Joinvile no dia 13/03 você poderá comparecer ao Moinho e ser mais uma testemunha. O evento deverá começar às 21:00hrs. Isso me faz pensar que é verdade... METAL NÃO VAI MORRER NUNCA!"
