  • Boys of Fall Documentary Released Today

Kenny and Shaun Silva's documentary "Boys of Fall" is available today exclusively in stores and online at Wal-Mart.  You can order online at http://bit.ly/BOFwm

"Boys of Fall" is a football documentary about life. Executive Producer and Country Superstar, Kenny Chesney began shooting footage and football interviews for his new single "The Boys of Fall" in fall 2009. After shooting footage of friend and New Orleans Saints' coach Sean Payton at his high school alma mater, Chesney decided to expand the video into a full documentary film. Over the next several months he filmed youth football games, high school football games & locker room speeches as well as interviews with football greats. Interviews include Troy Aikman, Bobby Bowden, Mack Brown, Tony Dungy, Brett Favre, John Madden, Peyton Manning, Joe Namath, Sean Payton, Bill Parcells, Nick Saban and Jim Tressel. After an introduction that includes Payton speaking to his old high school team in the locker room before a big game, it depicts how those who do not go on to long, storied careers in the NFL, like high school wide receiver Chesney, the lessons learned on the field help to shape who they are today.

Kenny Chesney Announces First Concerts for 2011 “Goin’ Coastal Tour”
Chesney And Zac Brown Band To Share Stage on 9 Stadium Dates

Kenny Chesney's "fans can count on his shows to be fun, fun, fun" (LA Times), and they can prepare to see "how deep this country megastar's talent really runs" (Chicago Tribune) as Chesney announces the first leg of what will be his biggest tour in five years. After a hiatus from the road in 2010, the four-time CMA and four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year will take his “Goin’ Coastal Tour” to nine stadiums next year. Chesney was the second biggest ticket seller of the decade and the only artist in any genre to sell over a million tickets for eight consecutive summers.

Tickets for stadium dates in nine cities will go on sale starting November 20, with additional arena and amphitheatre dates to be announced later, with more dates than any Chesney tour since 2006. Chesney will co-headline the stadium dates with Zac Brown Band, GRAMMY's "Best New Artist" in 2010 whose latest album 'You Get What You Give' debuted at #1 on the Billboard top 200. Multi-GRAMMY nominee Billy Currington has secured the highly coveted support slot powered by six No. 1 Billboard country singles and the success of his fourth and latest album 'Enjoy Yourself.'  Uncle Kracker, who sang with Chesney on the #1 country hit "When The Sun Goes Down," will open all the stadium dates except Foxboro, MA.

The man the Associated Press calls "among the hardest charging acts on the road" is already excited about returning to the stage. "We're going to be playing new songs and lots of old favorites, and I can already tell it's going to be a lot of fun," says Chesney.  "I can't wait to get back in front of my fans."

"With four acts on the bill, we've created these shows as all-day events, and are working hard to make them affordable for our fans," says tour promoter Louis Messina.  Chesney will make at least 7,000 tickets available at $25 at the majority of the stadium dates, with a whopping 13,922 for the March 19 Tampa show.

Chesney took a break from the road in 2010 to record his new album 'Hemingway's Whiskey' (BNA Records), which entered the Billboard 200 at #1 (his sixth album to achieve that feat) and to produce "Boys of Fall," the documentary about high school football now available for pre-order at http://www.walmart.com/ and in Walmart beginning November 9. "I've always loved playing stadiums because I get to see so many of my fans at one time, but after everything I learned from the football heroes I met while making 'Boys of Fall,' I'm seeing stadiums in a whole new way," Chesney says.

Fans can buy tickets at http://kennychesney.com/. The Kenny Chesney Official Fan Club will be offering presale tickets for all shows on Kenny’s 2011 Tour prior to the general public on-sale. To get access to these exclusive presales, fans can go to http://kennychesney.com/

  • "The Boys Of Fall" Video To Debut on ESPN's SportsCenter

KENNY CHESNEY’s “THE BOYS OF FALL” VIDEO TO WORLD DEBUT ON ESPN’s SPORTSCENTER

“The Boys of Fall” Single Available August 3 At All Digital Retailers

NASHVILLE, TN -- For singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney, a career trademark has been his drive to take his music and fans to new places and provide them with new experiences, whether it’s a network TV special, 3D movie, duets with Dave Matthews and Uncle Kracker or sold-out stadiums from coast to coast.  On Monday, August 2, Chesney again steps onto new turf as the music video for his hit single, “The Boys Of Fall,” makes its world premiere on ESPN’s SportsCenter.  This unique, four-minute video edit will air twice – just before 12:00 Noon, with another airing at the conclusion of the 2:00 pm edition (all times Eastern).  “The Boys of Fall” is the debut single from Chesney’s forthcoming album, Hemingway’s Whiskey, which will be released on September 28.

While “The Boys of Fall” is a tribute to the sensations, the moments and the memories of playing football, the music video enhances those emotions with footage from the pee-wee to the professional level, highlighted by some of the biggest names in the sport.  “Every day we see the world of sports come to life on ESPN, and I'm thrilled that ‘The Boys of Fall’ has found a home there, said Chesney.”

On Tuesday, August 3, the full-length eight-minute version of the music video will be available at all outlets including VEVO, CMT and GAC.  The eight minute version will also be available on ESPN.com and ESPNRise.com through the week beginning Aug. 2. The full length version, co-produced by Chesney, has been a labor of love for him.  “As a songwriter you crave inspiration, and I have never been more inspired than I have been in the past year listening to the lessons and the wisdom from these men and many more who have touched so many lives through the game of football!”

Chesney explains, “I have friends in this video...a lot of my heroes are in this video...so many players and coaches that have shaped the lives of generations are a part of this and it has been one of the highlights of my life to film it with Shaun Silva and Don Lepore!”

After two weeks of radio airplay, “The Boys of Fall” is already a Top 15 hit at country radio, ranking among the fastest-rising singles of Chesney’s career. On Tuesday, August 3, the song will be available for purchase at all digital retailers.
