Bio
Well, here's the story ( what I can remember anyway ) so far. In high school I played the trumpet in school bands and at about 15 years old I picked up the bass for the first time. It quickly became the focus of my full musical attention. I mucked about in bands through the high school years and spent hours and hours trying to lift my favourite songs and players. When I moved to Peterborough I started playing in local bands and played my first gigs at local bars. I decided that I wanted to study music in a more formal way as it had become clear to me that I didn't have much of a clue what I was doing. So, I auditioned for a few music programs around southern Ontario and decided to enroll in the music program at Mohawk College in Hamilton where I spent the next three years studying jazz and classical. During my time at Mohawk I joined my first working band and began playing full time around the Hamilton-Toronto area while still trying to see to my schoolin'. After graduating I continued playing around southern Ontario area and had the pleasure, over the next several years of playing live and/or recording with some great artists including: Ralf Buschmeyer, Roadside Attraction, Martin Verrall, Andrea Lake, Jacob Moon, Harrison Kennedy, Rob Lamothe, Linda Deumo, Carolyna Loveless, Kim Deschamp, Kevin MacLean, Steve Sinnicks, Riversong, Dysfunktionals, Kim Koren, Colin Amey and Sleeping Giant, Krush, James Anthony, Steve Strongman, Brian Griffith, Dave Gould, Tyler Beckett, Don Reed and Steve Piticco and Blind River. Since July of 2007 I have been living in Peterborough, Ontario and making some music with The Silver Hearts, Washboard Hank and some other lovely local folks. ...................... .. ..........Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - ....Myspace Layouts...... -

Influences
Could we call this part "Inspirations" instead...I don't think my music sounds like much of what inspires me but it is what inspires me nonetheless: Dwight Yoakam... Ani DiFranco... Dan Bern... Guy Clark... Leonard Cohen... Southern Culture on the Skids... South Mountain... Red Hot Chili Peppers... Lyle Lovett... Blood Hound Gang... Merle Haggard -
