At the early age of 15 he discovered a unique passion and love for music and Dj'n. Through the years it grew from a hobby to a passion changing his whole perspective on life with a new found talent. .... ..In 1997 at the age of 16 he entered a Power Tools competition becoming one of the top three best House Dj's in LA which then took him to another level. As he began to Dj at all ages clubs and 18 & over clubs, at the age of 17,he emerged into he club scene and took it by storm spinning everything from House,Top 40's, Hip Hop, Mash ups,Rock, Reggae and Euro Indie . With people unaware of his age, promoters, club owners and club goers booked him at all kinds of events such as clubs, parties, weddings and etc. As a young Entrepreneur he took over the club scene Dj'n at the hottest clubs like Carnival w/the Baka Boys, Bad Boy Bill & Richard Humpty Vision. He also Dj'd at Sweet Sundays and Purple Shield. Now at the age of 26, Dj Deftone now Dj's at the most legendary clubs in Hollywood such as White Lotus aka. Ritual, Day After, Shag, Cabana Club, LAX, Element, V20 in Long Beach, In Vegas at Club Paris, Club Pure, Club Krave, Club Ice, Magic Show Weekend, All Star Weekend and many more events. Dj Deftone soon made a name for himself with artists, promoters and began creating a buzz with record labels and A&R's..... ..As the years progressed he collaborated with many Dj's such as Cali Untouchable Dj's and West Coast Top Floor Dj's. As a part of Cali Untouchable Dj's Deftone began creating mix tapes and was presented with the opportunity to DJ for Sirius Satellite Radio. Throughout all of this Dj Deftone appeared in music videos with Roscoe Umali, Strong Arm Steady and many more. With many years of hard work Dj Deftone has been fortunate enough to work with many top artists such as Roscoe Umali, Jelly Roll,young dre.crooked i,dico d,spliff star (Flipmode Squad) J Bo (YoungBloods) and many up and coming artists including but not limited to Borreda, Kola, Young Shea and Gain Green artists..... ..At 26, U can find Dj Deftone traveling and performing all around world.
