    Spawned in 2006 it took nearly three years for Devenial Verdict to took it's proper form. The band was at the verge of breaking up when Riku Saressalo joined the band as vocalist in late 2008 and in 2009 Devenial Verdict gained a place in Finnish the underground. Devenial Verdict was in the finals of two high-profile band competitions. During the summer of 2009 the band had many line-up changes and finally in October the current, and the best, line-up got together and the music took more of it's own shape. They recorded a brutal, fast, and grooving demo "Psychic Devourment" which was critically acclaimed (Imperiumi.net 4/5) and their gigs grew even more brutal. The year 2010 has been busy. Devenial Verdict has done more gigs than ever and they participated in highly appreciated Finnish band competition "Ääni & Vimma" and fought their way onto the third place, becoming the first proper Deathgrind band to gain a place in the top 3. Right after the competition, the band started to work on their upcoming demo. Recordings took place from May to July and the final mixing is almost done. They also kept on gigging and in June opened for Finnish grind-legends Inferia and Cause for Effect. With more than 50 gigs, the band has become a real gigging machine! By now Devenial Verdict has taken the Finnish scene by throat with their brutal performances and high quality demos. Now it's time for the band to take over the stages in other countries and to show what Finnish Deathgrind really is. Fast, grooving, brutal and unforgiving. Devenial Verdict was formed in 2006, but it took a few years and lots of line-up changes until the band has become what it is today. After critically acclaimed demo (Psychic Devourment, Imperiumi 4/5) the band went to reach third place in a nationwide bandcontest in Finland (Ääni & Vimma). After the fall of 2010 Devenial Verdict has been laying low and rehearsing new songs, and now, after fundamental changes in the line-up, Devenial Verdict has released a new promo-cd entitled 'The Unborn God'.
