Dana Johnson is a 24 year old blue eyed heart breaker that when it comes to singing the latest hits she'll knock you outta the water. Dana started going to church on sunday's and signed up with the local vocal teacher who lived in her village. Her name was Mrs. Stubbs she taught classical music and Dana starting practicing her technique in singing competitions around the Northumberland area. She met Sue Sexsmith right around the same time and it was almost heaven sent, as Dana was begging Mrs. Stubbs to learn how to play "Home Aint Where The Heart Is" by Shania. Thats when Mrs. Stubbs told her you need a country teacher. Sue Sexsmith was connected via internet to the world and had the latest country songs and one heck of way teaching kids to get over being a stick on stage or crying because the music stopped playing. Dana practiced her songs at the local nursing homes that her mother was connected with, something she will always confess is "they are one tough crowd and the hardest to please, but they taught me to be strong on stage" as she laughs. Dana met many people over the years in competitions she attended thru out Ontario and down to Nashville a few times as well. The latest album Dana released is called "Grounded". There is 8 songs on the cd one of them being co-wrote which is the title track. While picking the songs for the album, Dana thought it was very important to do break up love songs and I'm too tough to fall for your lies, because in life that what she and her surroundings were going thru. The world will understand Dana as they get to know her, song by song her history will be told and everyone in the world will work together to provide a safe life for our families, because there is so much hurt in the world that songs can pull you thru. Dana is certain she can do this. Currently Dana is working on booking shows, writing, and plans to collaberate with many artists this next year. Keep your eyes and ears open for this girl cause she's about to walk the red carpet.

    The new Bram Cools album, 'cyberluddism' is available now. It is an exploration of our post-modern electronic society and all its problems through a lot of different, mostly electronic, styles of music. the DIY/mo-fi approach is still there though, as is the tendency to not be very commercially interesting. From weird instrumentals over dark techno sounds, glitchy beats and misplaced noise-layers that disturb otherwise happy styles of music. Lyrically it's a concept album of sorts, and not always that happy. But at least it doesn't sound like everybody else.

Hey everyone out there in the WORLD. I'm Daynah Johnson! My passion is country music, I love to entertain, and I love my Brother & My Mother.... and family ..and friends... (jeez i don't want to forget anyone) the people that I don't know yet and the people that have been in my past I love you all. I feel my style is Country Cowgirl livin a Small Town life, with small town dreams and people that don't always reach for the sky. I believe that if I ball my dreams up and throw them to the Heavens, it's gunna be a boomerang effect and it'll all come showering down on me. The people that inspire me most are Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, I could go on, but I wouldn't know where to end, and top 3 picks were the MOST important. I've been singing since I could speak, always taking the lime light when music came on and insisting "Just Me". Livin on a horse farm, with chicken's, a rabbit that disappeared named Thumper (i know original right?) a dog, three to five cats (outdoor), turkeys (i hate the smell of turkeys in the blistering sun), pigs (loud squealing pigs, I once sat in the pig pen on cardboard and sung a made up lullaby for baby pigs and they fell asleep... finally, I could play in the barn in silence, and when I leaped to the other side of the pen to play with my step sister, they all inconveniently woke up and started again) I had three meat cows (Bill, Bob, & George, but Bob got sick and was bloating, we tried to save him but we couldn't. So we had Bill and George) and saving the BEST for last I had horses.. beautiful lovely horses, fun horses, horses that scarred my body from stupid moves I made. Got them stuck in mudd holes and rode home bareback covered in swampy mudd (smoothest ride I've ever rode) Anyways that's a history of who i am. I love to write lyrics, I'm slowly getting better at playing the guitar. I see the day I 'm sitting down with Taylor and Miranda and Jason on a ranch, playing and making music... So people out there like me who love County Music can relate to it, anywhere in the world they are that's inspiring! I'm looking forward to Seeing You! Peace & Love xoxo
